More and more sightings of Terraria appearing on Nintendo hardware have appeared in the past month, and it seems that there’s no secret this great game is heading to the Wii U and 3DS soon. At first, we heard about the Australian ratings that the game received, while also seeing a few retail listings for it as well.
It seems that ESRB has listed Terraria as being set to release but only on the Wii U, at least according to the current listing that the game has on that particular site. Speculations also seem to suggest that the game is, at some point, heading towards the Vita platform as well, because it’s already on PSN and a few other portable devices as well.
What makes Terraria great and so sought after by many platforms is the fact that it’s a good platform game that includes a good sandbox theme as well. Many considered it Minecraft in 2D, and it managed to get quite a lot of shining reviews thanks to the stellar gameplay that it has managed to offer.
Even if it’s not a new game, Terraria still manages to stay in the top charts all over the world thanks to its one of a kind gameplay and numerous other interesting benefits that it offers. It’s a game that doesn’t ask a lot from people, but which manages to provide an extraordinary, interesting experience for you to enjoy.
It’s a very diverse title that definitely has a lot of appeal and which suits the controller gameplay perfectly. There’s no wonder that Nintendo would like to have them on the main console, and considering the graphics, we have to say that this will be a good fit for the 3DS as well, although some things will have to be narrowed down one way or another.
How much will it actually influence the gaming world is hard to say, but considering the great gameplay that Terraria offers, all of us that want a good platform and sandbox game with 2D visuals should twist their fingers, hoping that all these leaks will become a reality.
And even if leaks are coming from everywhere, the reality is that 505 games, the publisher for the title still doesn’t really make any announcement. Maybe they are expecting for a better moment, they plan new features or who knows what.
Either way, Terraria definitely fits the Wii U perfectly and this is a game that you do want to play, guaranteed. You should give it a try on the other platforms to see if you like it, but either way it’s a nice, solid experience for you to check out! There’s no idea in regards to the price either, but hopefully the game won’t be expensive to begin with, one can only hope that!
